Not much to report, just been enjoying the car in the sunshine when possible.

I have now clocked up just over 8000 miles in it, happy to report no real issues. The only thing that went wrong was an M6 bolt vibrating loose and causing the intake pipe to come adrift, sorted with a bit of thread lock.

Sods law tells me I should not have said that though :poke:

I went out to wash the car a few weeks ago and as I opened the door I was reminded I needed to sort out the window rattles.

So took the door cards off and sorted it but the amount the red leather had faded was bugging me.

Even more apparent when I could see the original colour from under the seals.

So I decided to try my hand at some retrimming.

Oh and some tarting up of the plastic bits.

Not perfect but not too shabby either, only thing I didn't do myself was the embroidery and stitched stripes. Done in  genuine Alcantara, charcoal and black. Embroidery and stitching cost me £14.

Also off topic but I made some expanding foam seats for my mates shared track slag. They obviously look a lot better now they are finished off and taped up, saved 35kg in the process but more importantly they are great for track use.

Made an insert for second smaller driver and a passenger seat too.

So as Steve cannot be bothered to bore you, thought I would 😁 Car has required an oil change / service 😉 Has had a track outing, various events and just using it.....no issues and indeed a boring update lol Steve is however going to be helping me with my crazy project car in the coming months DG

Car going fine, had a few issues but nothing you don't get on any car, engine mount failure, track rod ends, stuff like that, 30,000 miles done since conversion.

30k miles?! 'Kin hell mate! How come none have been on Highland Hoons?

I've not done more like 6k in a similar amount of time :/
