Yep Longhaul again, should be easier as a CPT rather than FO this time.

That surely doesn't mean rank gives you more snooze time? :P

seriously considering extending the second day to detour via Czech to Austria , ticks off another country visited in the VX

We are off to Monaco, then lake Garda, then the alps back through Germany and France taking in as many sweeping passes as we can find. Welcome to tag along :)

Yeah, we are currently looking at campsites as trying I keep budget down. Think we may have to splash out on a hotel or two though. Will try and find our route plan

Euro rate will be in your favour this year , there are plenty of cheap motels , where you will appreciate the aircon and not having to put up tents etc.

You think we would just happen upon these motels as we drive or worth booking in advance? Never done anything like this before

for the cheap road side ones, you could just fire up the laptop and book day before. Although I've also got 50% off some hotels doing very late deals. ibis , accor, premier classe , all do decent deals . Really cheap are hotelf1 30euros, same company as accor/ibis

We've booked in here for one night there and back although we plan on going a few days before and taking a few days on the return http://www.booking.c...chel.en-gb.html Not bad for £35/night when all you need is a clean room. The pool etc is a bonus
