Just looked at receipt from Thorney for Map it says NEG stage 1 2007 at 29k ago £550 +vat in the large bill. There is no receipt for the exhaust but only a downpipe for turbo from Thorney at this point. The exhaust may have come later??

I was going to get a SC car at 270bhp but wanted the shove of a turbo and having just driven one that blew up it kind of put me off. I do have a SC AMG 55 SL having said that!

How do you go about the Airbox modification? Is is a real hasle to get too (not looked yet, its on my todo list tomorrow. Will I get 250+ BHP with a remap now I have Milltek? And who is best in NOrfolk... Clive Attow? What should I expect to pay (Courtneys may be a tad too much at over £600 inc vat)

Airbox mod is easy but it is debatable as to the performance benefit albeit it sounds better :) NSR arch liner out Airbox out Pull out one or both trumpets and then if you fancy... drill the crap out of the intake side of the box. thumbsup

Thanks for that, what about sucking in water??? And likewise Paul I will ring you  re popping round tuesday.

I will do airbox tomorrow then take to Courtneys to see what they will charge me to remap to 250ish. As I think the extra 30BHP/30Lbs/ft should make a far more enjoyable car to drive, not to mention a better prospect on the track. I also wondered about shocks and braces, Nitron's the most popular shocks and what rear/front brace's are best?

http://corneringforc..._roll_bars.html For the ARB's although there is cheaper options from Elise parts I believe. I've got the one's in the link above but they are very expensive If you don't mind loud I can recommend an Apexi air filter if you decide to go aftermarket http://www.mikekempe...ters/index.html Suspension wise. Nitron,Quantum get good reviews of here

Personally I didn't notice much of a difference with noise when modifying the standard air box
