Russell Crowe was absolutely correct when he said they should just be put in a room and told to sort out their differences.
But then Russell Crowe is also a belligerent racist so I would expect nothing less.

Sorry, you can't behave like that and expect to get away with it - sounds like he's committed an assault and broken the law.
Shame, but it's the right decision.

It's the right decision. You can't hit people and keep your job.
doesn't seem to be a problem for Chris Brown, Many Footballers and other z-list celebs,....

The BBC are a wimpy, far left group of nannys..
Other than their documentaries, they serve very little purpose anymore

Not so sure... They still play his music, they still show football etc....
and also haven't given anyone a bollocking for turning a blind eye to noncing
Not saying what Clarkson did was right and should be ignored, but there are some WAY WAY bigger fish to fry first

As shown by their outstanding ability to cover up past events😄😄, or did you mean double standards! It appears North Yorkshire Police are now getting in on the act having requested to review the findings to determine if further action is required. Not like the police to immediately turn their attentions to "easy picks" so they can find an excuse to put other cases back on to the "too hard pile" I agree that hitting someone required some sort of action, but it was the fact that he was on a final warning due to the recital of a well known nursery rhyme, which was never broadcast, that resulted in the final warning.Thankfully the BBC have higher standards.

Apparently Clarkson has a new company formed (which he is a director off)..... could just be a bit of an abrupt end to his 'Top Gear days mk2'.
Having watched the last series of top gear back to back last week, it seemed to me like they were wrapping thing up, like the knew there contracts wouldn't be renewed (not saying the 'fracas' was planned).
I am also not supporting verbal or physical abuse, it is wrong.

You should totally stop being a Top Gear-watching bigoted, racist, homophobic, sexist bully that punches people. That way, the people who REALLY matter (those that aren't "car guys") will like you and accept you into their special gang.being the "car guy" in the office I am taking a lot of flack for this.. and I have never even said I supported him (and just for the record, you can't hit people and keep your job)....

Its unfortunate but not surprising given the way in which the BBC chose to handle this incident. They should have kept this investigation private at least until the end of the series. They are now in the position of having to scrap the last 3 episodes at a considerable cost and loss of earnings, not that they will be worried. I have seen this type of incident before in the TV / Film industry, usually handled in private and sorted out amicably.
If this was applied to the football industry there would be no players or managers left!

What, haven't the bastards just thrown away the best part of 50 million a year of our money ?My mind is saying this has all been about saving money for the BBC With the intention to stop the show unless wages were dramatically reduced, I also suspect some blackmail has taken place This is not as clean cut as what we are hearing in the news Just my opinion
