Do people run 17" front and back on these, rather than the staggered 16/17? Saw Lee's car a while back, and was in awe of the wheels, they really do suit the VX

Yep

Wider but 17" all round. There's a lot of discussion on here about them.

From what I can see sizes are 7.5x17et20 fronts and 9x17et30 rears and recommended tyre sizes that are least likely to rub are 205/45 fronts and 235/40 rears, although not guaranteed. I've tried searching for yokohomas ad08's in those sizes but can't seem to find them.

Before you buy. Martin had them. Martin hated them. Martin sold them.

Yeah read that at the time. But know people who have run them for years and love them. Lee likes them so much he's got 2 sets!

I have AD08R in 205/45 235/40 on mine. No rubbing. I think thats what martin had on his and had rubbing - but runs a lower ride height. He didn't get on with them at all. Its been discussed a lot on here.

I used to get on fine with the AD08 but recently I've begun to think differently. They didn't feel great at a Hethel trackday a few weeks ago. Doing Goodwood tomorrow so will see how I get on there. Considering a change - maybe 595RSR.

Dam they do look sweet, silver or black though, the silver did look nice against the black vx, not sure if black would look a bit lost.

Agree, the silver wheels on the black VX look flippin awesome

Sorry, was just curious if they did them in 16", but I guess not if everyone runs them 17" all round. Aware that the standard car had 17" all round. Currently have Compomotives with 16" front and 17" rear, and like the look of that. Great price for the group buy, but wrong time for me.

Careful, it'll cost you more than you think. Bought mine 7 months ago at £760 and some Toyo T1R's fitted at £420. The problem was, I thought it looked a bit monster truck/radio controlled car like so had to buy some coilovers to make it look right. Standard ride height (Bilsteins) http://s1093.photobu...tml?sort=3&o=48 http://s1093.photobu...tml?sort=3&o=49 Lowered 20mm rear, 30mm front (Gaz Gold II's) http://s1093.photobu...tml?sort=3&o=12 http://s1093.photobu...html?sort=3&o=9 Hope these work. It's a bit dirty in the 2nd lot of pics. Trying to do this from my phone and am half asleep. Will sort tomorrow from a laptop if the links don't work.

Its hard to tell from those Angles but the standard pics look ok. I get what your saying though because if they don't look right then it's another 800 quid for some nitron street series 2's!

They look great, but they're heavy and handle like a bag of sh*t in comparison to a 16/17 setup
