It was!

Option 1, sit in a room dry
Option 2, go round a track sideways in the rain (possible chance of spinning)

I'll take option 2 :D

Now here's an interesting one - I've got my Dad's birthday presents to bring up to Brum on Friday night. A hedge trimmer and a set of golf clubs. Both are in suitably large boxes :D What's the chances of them fitting into the passenger seat, or am I going to have to change my plans and bring the FRP....? Was quite a hoot at the wet track at Hethel last year though :D thumbsup

The little clubhouse in the pits is quite pleasant and has a coffee machine thumbsup

I'll be there blagging rides, and have a large and a small crash helmet if anyone needs to borrow (when I'm not using).

Hmm, if that forecast stays maybe I will change my fronts! Having looked at them while they were fitting the Mintex pads (not even properly bedded in yet, but seriouslygood bite already!), the middle of both fronts is OK, but the inside edge is pretty ropey, and outside edge isn't too great. Don't fancy navigating down the M1 with bald tyres if it's gonna rain! Tyres are on order, decision to be taken Friday :) BTW, is the clubhouse a safe place to leave a bag with camera etc in it?

Spoke to someone called Francesca at Easytrack this lunch time. She confirmed the event is still on, couldn't explain the absence from the web site, said joining instructions would issue soon but couldn't give a time for the briefing - I really don't want to arrive at 8am if we don't start till 9am etc! PS See you all there. thumbsup

Ive left lots of stuff around the "clubhouse". What colour is your bag...I need a new camera!!

(word of advice: dont advertise that you are gonna leave a camera lying around on a public forum)

Enjoy!

No, don't think so. I think you probably just have to "sign on" as a passenger (liability thing)
