How fast will it go Mister ?!

Those quad bolt cast crank caps looks well meaty - far stronger looking than the weedy Z20LET ladder.

Top job Vocky, Thankyou very much! Hopefully Lee will get the motor fitted in the next week or so and then it will come back to my place for me to fit the MW50 injection kit, wideband lambda kit and then it's time for some running in and mapping on my Dyno! No idea what to expect really with regards to BHP, if I really leaned on the MW50 450bhp may be possible but we'll see! I'll be happy with anything over 400tbh.

What gearbox are you choosing to go with it? Close ratios would be superb. I'm guessing that spec engine would melt an M32 pretty quickly...

Standard box for now, spent out on the motor. Will look at box options when I fit the diff. Need to spend some money on the suspension and brakes etc next.

Standard box will be spot on Close ratio with anything over 300 hp is not nexessary unless you want to spend most of your time changing gear Plus it will run out of puff at 130-140 mph dependant on rpm limit Where as I'm around 140 mph in fourth gear standard NA box

Well after a trip over to Lee's last night to load the new base map in the car now officially runs again! Just got to wait for Vocky to go over and retighten the head bolts and then I'll collect it at the weekend. May just get it straight on the rollers next week and put a few hrs on the motor without the Mw50 just to check we have no silly issues etc.

I'm following this thread with great interest.

I got my 88,1mm pistons for a slightly overbored GEN3 Block last month and hope to find the time to complete it in the next 2 months...

Engine will be equipped with a ported head, stage3 cams, and harrop with 70mm pulley, too...

Please keep us posted! I am curious about your boost-levels with the increased engine capacity... I think they will drop a bit what will help to keep the IATs down.

Water injection will bring the rest to enter the "comfort-zone". I have seen 35° less with WI on my old 2.0 harrop Engine!

And i am curious about the power band and the needes rev's with the stage3 cams ;-)

Brought the car back home tonight. I drove it all of 10mtrs....onto the trailer and then into the garage lol. With my next race meeting fast approaching I doubt I'll touch the vx now untill after Angelsey. Sounds completey different now, almost lumpy but quite(ish) on idle but the second you hit the loud pedal it's different altogether!

Not sure my neighbours will approve lol! Also worried about bore washing it as its mega rich! Soon as I've done some base running in and mapping I'll get some vids up 👍🏼

You could put the car straight in to fuel learn during the low rpm range running in process That way the fueling could be learned and installed to the Ecu then you can continue with the low rpm range As you increase the rpms on the running in process you could learn session again That way the fueling is not so far out for to long

Just take it to a small circuit when it's mapped & drive like you would on a normal track day. It will be a fine, Neil built it.

That's what I plan to do Chris, as soon as its on the Dyno the fuel learn will be on.
