Yes that.I have to say.....I'm with jonnyboy on the demise of.org. A turning point for me was some verbal abuse and physical threats from a certain member against me personally. The mods did nothing about it and refused to remove the thread. I was told to 'live and let live'. Yet when someone posted a comment on a mod's thread that the mod didn't like (it wasn't abuse or threatening) the thread mysteriously disappeared. It's become very 'cliquey' again on here.

There are multiple factors but there are lots of owners that I cone into regular contact with through the business that regard this place as a bit of a bear pit and will browse but not post. There are also a lot of current owners that don't visit any more. I still have the .org domain that was if you remember a plan b when the site kept going down and it looked like the site could go at any moment. That cost a lot of £££ which I wouldnt stand a chance of getting back but I wanted to assist in providing some continuity to the forum which back then was a different place. If it went down tomorrow I don't think anyone would be motivated enough to bother doing anything about it.I think we're looking at a number of issues, not all related. I'll pull some stats from admin panel later, but I'd argue visitor numbers and post counts are down due to reducing number of cars and people moving away to other cars/brands as the vx gets older. You could also argue that due to a lack of club structure, people don't affiliate themselves as well. We've said this for a long time, yet the owner of the site doesn't seem to want to change that. Even you acknowledged that and set up the other vx.org site iirc?

I wondered why a harmless, innocent supercharge thread got to five pages then realised that this place seems to have reared its undertone of sabotage again. It's a real shame because as an outsider, you can come across as a bunch of cunts.
If your intentions are innocent, then you need to think about what you post. If you're sitting there thinking 'is p4cks's post referring to me and my cuntish posts', then it probably is.
Not every car seller is an Imran and not every SC conversion place is a Thorney.
We're all friends here.

Have you made a decision if you are going to sc your car Where are you going to have it done ( or diy ) would like to no the reasons you chose the particular people doing it or if your going to do it yourself If you do decide to do it your self despite people think the community is going down the pan you will always get helpHey guys, I'm looking for a reliable place to get my NA stage 2 supercharged. I've had a few quotes but they are all ridiculously expensive, I know there is alot of work involved but the costs I've been hearing are crazy. Has anyone had a good job done and how much did it cost? Thanks as always

I was merely commenting on how you were coming across to me JB. Comments which i stand by and which were genuinely made to help rather than hinder.
I'll restate the third paragraph of my post on page 4:
we all truly, genuinely support you in your endeavours. I've enjoyed watching you grow from part time hardtops to a fully fledged business
I can concede it might have been better via PM.
