Ultimately I think a lot of members on here have the money to buy whatever they want within reason and choose a vx on merit. Personally I don't give a crap what badge is on it or what others think of it, as it drives great.
Lets be honest, a lot of us bought one because it was a lot cheaper than the equivalent elise

I didn't. I had a 111R before my VX but the engine was rubbish with no torque and when it got written off I could have had another one, and Exige S or a Honda S1 at the time. The VX for me is the best of the bunch
Did you consider the elise SC ?

Not me. The VX has much better lines than an Elise (or even an Exige).
Is my VX oool? I don't know and I don't care. The only thing that matters to me is it makes me smile every time I drive it
