I think it's due to my accident on the VFR, broken shoulder, I get some pretty serious pain between my shoulder blades even on my CBR after about 60 miles. I guess it's just a matter of 'trying' to get a test ride on one.

If only the 600 came in Repsol colours.

They do if you order one thumbsup

Not sure about this, don't think it comes from Honda UK.

They wont come from Honda direct.

But if you order a new 600RR Most good dealers can get them painted up before they are registered thumbsup

The Motorcycle shop i used work for used to do it alot, just to get rid of 'standing colours nobody likes stock'
It will then be registered as say 'Repsol' colours on the log book from new thumbsup

Out of interest R1CHY, any idea how much it would cost? As the logbook would state it's Repsol, would that be prove that it hasn't been trashed and rebuilt/resprayed. I thought that if a colour change was made, the logbook would be changed anyway, hence impossible to tell it was ordered that way. I suppose the receipt could be written stating that the Repsol had been done prior to delivery.

Yep thats right, when the bike is HPI'd..etc, it will show colour change as 'from new and first registerd' They did it to my R6 thumbsup

As for cost, we used to pay around £500 a bike but had them done in bulk,
i think that was with dreammachine  ....it was few years back though.

Check MCN etc 'coz alot of dealers will be selling unregisterd 04 RR's off cheap with race paint schemes thumbsup

Ive seen a couple of HM plant Hondas in shop windows B)

:o 'snap' :) shattered shoulder blade when my 916 was murdered.

For some reason I'm now more comfy when hunched over the bars rather than Harley stylee.

Shouldn't be too hard to get a demo, most of the larger dealers around these parts (South West) are running 2005 600RRs as demonstrators.

R1CHY,which bike dealer did you use to work for?

Did you get it Armorfended? If not perhaps we could get them done at the same time 'when' I get mine. Still can't track down a demo! Starting to think about just ordering one without a ride first. :o EDIT: :o rain! Nooooooo :P

Didn't bother in the end, however mates 05 600RR has come back from the TT with a lot of chips.

Didn't think Slovenia(sp?) was quite 3rd world, but Akrapovic quality is far better than most, but then I haven't seen my Milltek yet  :D

Is it not, never very good at geography.

From what I've heard you cannot get any better quality than Akropovich. thumbsup

EDIT: I always seem to put a H on the end. :beat:
