So for a stage 2 VXT I reckon, 0-60 4 secs 0-100 10.75 secs 1/4 12.5 @ 110mph What does everyone else reckon?

That seems a bit optimistic. I seem to remember a stage 2 VXR doesn't break the 4 second barrier.

I thought a std vxr did 0-60 in 4.2 so with another 20bhp extra should see 4

my friends old vxturbo ran a 11.9 at santa pod the other year, had a few mods on it though thanks to regal. and 1/4m racing is far from boring but i guess thats personall opinion, its quite addictive when you think you can knock off a few 1/10ths of a second. and launching at a 1/4m is soo much harder then on your typical road

How is the gearing in 2nd on the VXR? Can it do 60 in 2nd?

My supercharged na does 0-100 km/h, or 0-62 mph, in 4,6s. I have to change into 3rd, so lose a lot of time. I'm sure a few tenths could be shaved with practise, but I'm not going to warp my clutch trying :)

0-56 mph goes in 3,6s. A raised limiter would surely get me a 0-62 in around 4,0s :)

According to the autocar road test i have in front of me the VXT can hit 67mph in 2nd and 100 in 3rd

If the VXR have the same ratios 4,2s should be realistic.

Any VXR owners who have tested with a datalogger? I guess in-gear times are a far better way of measuring as it removes two variables from the equation: gearchange and clutch control:

My NA SC: (Porsche 997 Turbo)

20-40: 2,5s (3,3s)
30-50: 2,3s (2,4s)
40-60: 2,2s (2,0s)

Are they any gear times or in a specific gear? Quick though a SC NA should be a 997 Turbo should be able to blow it away through the gears

TT My VXR currently does 30-90 in third with no pre-acceleration( ie constant 30 then foot down) in 7.69 seconds. Very simple. No launch tactics required, no corners and no changing gear. It is an excellent and consistant measure of engine performance mod impact IMO ...and yes my VXR can get through 60 in second but it is right before the limiter (which has not been modded from standard)
