if you dont think 1/4 mile times etc was a good question to ask then dont answer. let the people who do have info on what they have achieved answer. im sure that if we were all in a pub car park at a meet and i was to raise the question about 1/4 miles that you would do as the above states. this is the internet and i do expect banter but too many times have i read threads on here where peopl have just asked honest questions and got sh*t back. no doubt the ones giving sh*t are small weak minded people who wouldnt say a word face to face for fear of getting a slap to the knees with a fcukin bat. if i was spoken to face to face like i have been on here you would know the meaning of shutting the fcuk up if your gonna be a cock. just let people ask question without testing your big mouths for the funniest remark or reply. its easy to seem quick witted on the net therefore it not impressive. i just want some answers into 1/4 mile related things nothing else. yes i go for blasts out round the lanes. yes i go on track days 3-4 times a year and yes i want to do a 1/4 sprint. hopefully the first two class me as the same kinda driver as most of you so just because i wanna do the 1/4 thing it dont mean im a prick, even though the above agression may say otherwise, but the dicks on here p*ss me off. oh and just to proove my above point i bet all the tits carry on having a dig instead of just leaving it. they will even quote me on my above thread and rip the sh*t out of it....again no one would be rude enough to do that to someone infront of them

I was on this site [studying all the cons about the VX] well before i joined, almost 9mnths to be exact, and since 03 i've seen the 1/4 mile question asked a billion times... the 5 ''active'' members [laughs out loud] on 116.com use to come up with some top class flaming back then

Myself, Cheeky and Q & D must be '3 of the 5' posters on type 116 and interesting probably in the top 5 attenders in VX's at Santa pod over the last few years aswell so that puts that theory where it belongs :poke:

Ohh i stand corrected then!! - I should have said two out of the five posters

But atleast i was right about there being five of you on there :poke:

;)

I'm up for a drag up the strip if I can make the date - why not ? For NA at least there's not a problem with clutch (touch wood). Mine has had lots of standing starts when in Sprints (plus top gear laps were from standing start as well)... it certainly is a skill to 'launch a car' without wasting valuable 10ths for sprints, racing etc... thumbsup

Redheadsucker - chill out dude, you havn't been on here five minutes.. you'll soon realize we're only winding you up bud so don't take it so bloody personal thumbsup

You'd be suprised how many people on here would!!.. ;)

When you post something up on a public forum you should expect to get burned by some, i've posted things on here in the past and have been slated, i've even argued with loads of a couple of members [who i now get on with thumbsup ]

My advice is spend abit more time on here before blasting off with threats, because alot of the time.. humor is lost in text, and people take things the wrong way... ranting will only make you look like a troll thumbsup

peace out :P

Andy (redhairsucks) Quote "no doubt the ones giving sh*t are small weak minded people who wouldnt say a word face to face for fear of getting a slap to the knees with a fcukin bat. if i was spoken to face to face like i have been on here you would know the meaning of shutting the fcuk up if your gonna be a cock. just let people ask question without testing your big mouths for the funniest remark or reply. its easy to seem quick witted on the net therefore it not impressive." Andy this is my last post on the matter. You have taken this to far to personally. However here are my answers to some of your observations above. Yes i would take the p*ss face to face as many of us do on our local meets, lotus guys taking the p*ss out of Vx guys etc and also taking the p*ss on many other matters as well. No i don't think you would slap anyone to their knees with a bat. Surely your better than that ? Equally threatening people over the Internet is not very impressive either, and doesn't compare to a bit of p*ss taking/banter so why feel the need to do it, nobody has threatened you. Or put another way i love people who give out threats lets you know when their coming, its the ones that say nothing you got to watch for ;) Good luck Andy , but you really have to take things on here with a pinch of salt, and like R1CHY said humor can be lost in text. chinky chinky Jas

As this thread as gone well off topic I thought I would actually post some times like the lad asked. So from autocar for a std VX220 Turbo 1/4 in 13.6 @ 103mph and for the NA 1/4 in 14.75 @ 92mph (this is from lets torque bhp for the N/A, but as the autocar time is pretty identical to the lets torque bhp time for the VXT then ill use this)
