only thing bothers me is the making of the bracket to hold the ECU
I don't really have access to metal working facilities

I've recently ordered my 2.4 inlet mani and will need to fabricate one of these. I'll make a spare for you if you like...

And for me please... :P

i have been reading about this mod in great depth. but the cost of importing seems way to excessive. one of my friends that works here has a brother that is a car dealer in canada. i am hoping that i can use him to send me the parts in a package, which would save on customs and such things. could someone please provide a difinitive list of all the parts that are needed for the basic kit AND any other parts that other people are likely to use that are standard GM parts. I'd hope to make a group buy out of this or even offer to use my contacts to see if i can make it any cheaper. (actually if somone was willing to fit one for me i'd offer all the parts in return!)

there is a group buy on z22se.co.uk putting the inlet at £99 which is excellent value for the performance gains.

Yes, and look remarkably like the original to the untrained eye.

I'm only allowed 5 mods apparently.. and I've already got:
exhaust/manifold non standard
spoiler/airdam front
rear spoiler
non standard alloy wheels
brakes uprated

so my only route for upgrades is
inlet manifold (included in "exhaust/manifold non standard" - I checked :)
free flow cat
exhaust manifold

so as long as the standard air box can provide enough flow, this is what I'll do

im still going to get one from the US.. cutting off my nose to spite my face an all that.

It would be plain hypocritical of myself to buy from a UK tuner lol

Does anyone know the part number for the servo pipe one way valve needed that also has the nipple on it to connect fuel vacuum pipe to? And is there a part number for the thicker length of servo hose needed too? Or failing that, dimensions (i.e diameter and length)? Anyone fancy putting up a template for the bracket to mount the ecu on? And lastly, any bits that may be difficult or that would catch out a mechanical novice? My VX is my only car and I need to get this right!!! Thanks, Andrew
