I believe I'm the first person to actually order one! Total cost incl carriage and VAT was 98=52p . Seems good value to me for our perennial problem! Further orders can be phoned to William or Dave on 01491824424- seemed very enthusiastic and helpful on the phone. [PS I have no other connection with them!]

Bringing this up again:) Anyone else ordered this yet? Any can i ask....is there a SIGNIFICANT improvement and worth £100??? Like to be honest, the heaters barely demist the windows nevermind keep you warm. Is it enough to warm the car on a cold morning to a point where ur comfortably warm. (ie, not numb!!!)

£100 is too rich for me, I'll stick with B&Q hot air ducting pipes for tumble dryers Works perfectly well, good air flow and cheap as chips, :)

Just to let you know. we have now finalised the heater filter material, and some is on order thru Revotec's suppliers, so as far as I am aware thats the kit sorted. There has been some debate on wether it's worth the money. IMHO yes! The old tin foil hose looked nothing short of, well Heath Robinson (aka crap), with little output (yes, the blower motor is not the best), and the cockpit got covered in dust and debris. The filter sorts that out, and the new hoses give a more forceful flow. I feel that there are good heat gains as well, and hopefully I shall feel this significantly during the winter months. (I am not poof and use mine all year as a daily driver :tt: :P , hence my eager attitude to sort the OEM item out once and for all).
Ref the price, I did say during initial posts that Revotec had hinted at approx £60-70. However they, (as all companys do), think in prices without the dreaded VAT. So £98 inc VAT and P&P is, to me not too bad. Again I must re-iterate, I am receiving no financial gain from the sale of these kits. My only connection with Revotec is as a customer who had an idea that they helped me/them develop.
If you want one give 'em a call. Anybody needing advice on fitting, simply PM me, I am more than willing to help, (I, after all have had enough help and advice from this forum in the past 15 months that I have owned my VXT :grouphug: :grouphug: ). So I'm just pleased to return the favour(s), and contribute to improving the car in some way.
Cheers
Rob

Sounds interesting - do they offer a different blower unit that'll fit as well? Mine's got a problem and I want a non OEM solution, as the OEM one costs about £700 all in. So, am I right in saying that they provide the 2 part(?) hose and the fitting for either end of it? Pete.

Not sure about the blower unit, try a kit car supplier?? Ref the hoses, yeah both hoses incuded and the filter housing and filter. Basically everything you need.

Sorry mate no. however you just nclip the two clips on the filter housing. One in, one out and re-clip. Really is less than a minute to do and no hassle at all.

Do you have to change the filter or is it a dyson-esque foam bit that can be washed?

No, it's a foam gauze type. Just hoover it off and or wash it under a tap and refit. eventually if you wanted to replace it would be pennies!!
