willt that be ok or need to do more?

No idea. I know Nick was taking it very easy for good few hundred miles after his rebuild but no idea what's really necessary.

I took it easy Joe for some time in fact I was amazed how it loosened up over 1000 miles. I asked how to do a run in on the forum and 2 different ways came out, the take it easy or the rev it's guts out, since I am a chicken I did option one.

I didn't go over 5000 rpm for the first 300 miles then slowly increased it over time infact. I had 1500 miles on the clock before I hit 7000 rpm

will probably call off the activity day then, may still turn up, will give me an excuse to drive 50 odd miles there and back to help wear the engine in then. parts also fitted where brand new clutch and slave cylinder TMS lightened flywheel balance deletion cooler tank 1L cant wait until it is worn in and ready for abusing :D :D

A gradual wearing in process is usually recommended with higher tuned vehicles (bikes). 500 miles before you go over 4000rpm a further 300 miles before you go over 6000rpm. Something like that. Do you know what your rev limit will be set to?

yeah not too bad, managed to get the rebuilt engine in and charged and with clams on by wednesday 13th then i drove down to dover then from dover to germany all at running in speed (sorry fellas  ) then did a couple of laps at the ring and drove back yesterday

the car feels amazing and the power delivery is perfect for me i love the way it has turned out to be :D

all that is left that i want to do is change the valve springs over to double ones, get a smapper pulley and then a remap. Then get the spitfire kit for handling :D

hopefully that should be me close to being done then :D

cheers for asking buddy

thanks to JJJ for a good trade :)

cant wait to see what it feels like with the new quickshift. although it is going in a lock up for 2weeks for a nice long sleep before a hard month in july :)

have now sourced a addition fuel pump, now just looking for a good ideal swirl pot and fingers crossed the car will be bullet proof (after a remap/standalone ecu) :)

also will be making my very own hybrid rear diffuser  , as mine has taken a bit of a beating off the past few months
