I've heard these can squeal? Is there anything you can do to prevent this or is it just a case of living with it?

Sometimes after bedding them in then can get a small lip, causing the squeel.
just grind it off.

Make sure to got some rubbers in for the rattle part:

Also after some time time brake dust builds up in the caliper, helping with the rattle when cold.

Looking forward to your posts on how often you need to clean your wheels now
Stopping force is good though. :tt:

Yes I've turned my abs off,so much better :) I must say I'm not looking forward to the noise they make but I guess it's a small price you pay for getting some decent pads. As long ad the dust doesn't eat my wheels I'm sure il be happy :) So Once I've bedded them in if I just grind the ridge of that should cure the squeal?

Brilliant! :D

My 1155s only squeal when I pull into my drive after about 10pm! I need to get a set of buffers for them too as they've become a lot more rattly at low speeds these days!
"What's that noise?" ... "Oh, that's just the brakes, I wouldn't worry about them"

Aimy................. How long do you leave the brake dust on your wheels for ??? Just wash the car more, wheels will be fine with any pads. Hope you enjoy them
