http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3f1c9ded3b Is this all you need or do you need a flange or adaptor? And a cold air duct putting in?

try and keep it shielded from direct flow of road debris , ideally you want the side air intake to create positive pressure in the wing to stop engine heat being drawn back in. The original has a downward facing snorkel to prevent water ingestion.

Yes. That was one of my main concerns as I do not want to block airflow from the ear inlets. A downward snorkel is a very good idea.

Thanks Tim, I would really appreciate a photo. I wanted to understand the bracket you fitted and location more than anything before I take the plunge.....

As always so impressed with the level of help that everyone offers on this forum. I look forward to meeting everyone this year as I am making it a priority to make a meet.

Thanks, Jon

If you use the standard tubing that fits your OE airbox then the filter sits perfectly just out of direct flow as Steve recommends. I'll take some later for you.

So you can see this is taken from the engine opening looking down to the ear.

The blue arrow is a mounting point for the original OE bracket, which I've removed, but used the original bolt to mount the bracket (green) then connected to the filter via one of the 4 bolts used to mount the flange to the filter itself.(pink)

Any more q's please ask.
