Just need a one armed car hating bicycle riding lesbian then, to cover all bases. :beat:

Wonder if Chris Harris (assuming he can stop drifting for a couple of minutes) or Sabine will be quicker than whatever Stig this currently is, around the Top Gear test track.

Hey Lewis, now that you've given up racing the Beeb wanna talk to you. Remember Top Gear? Seems they're interested in reviving it. You remember TG don't yer, took a nose dive after Clarkson etc left...Beeb hired anyone and everyone who'd ever driven a car on TVs. Then the viewing figures dropped to zilch and they shelved it. Couple of presenters knew their thing but the Beeb wanted to make TG super,, one size fits all..appeal to yer mum and yer sister. In fact they decided that cars as we know them were finished sort of hooked up with Google and their driverless golf carts. indeed someone slipped in a new name.. Top Cart... So here you go Lewis it's your turn behind wheel of the reasonably interesting series...open (cheque) book, do it however you want. Figure it whichever way makes it sing again.

Dont forget that most people who watch top gear are general "car enthusiast*" idiots. They type who buy stig mugs, grow Richard Hammond facial hair, jaff off over anything "exotic" and subscribe to Shmee150 on youtube.

As long as Chris Harris can do some proper car bits and the rest isnt massively scripted and fake it'll be ok to watch. Its not like the original three knew about cars or how to drive, Richard Hammond is just a younger Alan Partridge, so this has the potential to be a better car based entertainment show better.

*As an example, a guy came up to me when I was filling up recently and said "Nice car, I've got a Mitsubishi FTO.". Erm ok, thanks for that. You wouldnt do this with other stuff so why cars?? "Nice hair cut mate, I also have a hair cut."

It'll need scripting, it's a TV show and it's got Eddie Jordan in. He was fcuking useless "live" in 98% of the F1 coverage (still sounded stupid in the edited highlights too), stumbling over his words and taking 10 seconds to react to any joke as it made it's way through the glue holding his wig on, by which time everything/everbody else had moved on.

Please God, no more tedious drifting videos from Monkey Harris (and I generally like him) whilst having an orgasm about whatever version of the 911 you happen to be driving at the time. Hopefully he'll have discovered some additional superlatives for the next P1 review, other than the "whole new thing" repeated ad nauseam.

Hopefully, they'll not all be there all of the time and will only come in and out of some of the pre-recorded features.

Unfortunately, whatever else, it'll still have the camera hogging ginger twat in it, hopping about like a 5yr old that's needs a pee. :(

I think it'll be a good show... :ninja:

I didn't realise monkey was so short. I generally like his car reviews so hopefully he'll be a regular contributor.

Not sure they need the stig anymore - that's a throw back to the old show. Monkey or Schmidt could do the fast laps

The stig looks like Sabine... ok a tiny bit taller, but that might be photoshop etc.

OR maybe even the jobless Wolff bird that everyone fawned over

I'm with you on the drifting but I guess thats been driven (no pun intended) by the fact his videos are so popular that anything showing proper fast driving on the road would get him in trouble and fast track driving looks abit boring in normal cars. Same with other youtube channels, lots of fast track vids but all the on road stuff is on tight back roads showing slow stuff.

Plus the car enthusiast idiots love drifting because its wicked an ting.
