I'm thinking of splitting one as there is a couple of water marks inside, just need the courage, the other looks very clean inside so no need.
Has anyone refitted without tape before and just tiger seal?

That guide appears to use glass headlight lenses.
Good thing someone makes replacement lenses.

The sample YouTube is about glas lenses (or very hardened plastic.
Ours are some sort of weird soft plastic.
Talk to fezzasus about a new pair

Haha, yeah I may need some new lenses. I've tried meguiars polishing compound which seems to be bringing them up ok, I'm experimenting at the moment as I have nothing to lose. The only thing that would bother me is buying a new set of lenses and stacking it on my first winter track day this year.

The fezz lenses are relativily cheap compared to full units.
(which are 1700 euro........each)
Better not destroy those.
Some have had to put their car in the shed for a long time untill an afordable used one came along.

Good advice, the lens are off the light so I can only destroy the lens. I think the PT cruiser has polycarbonate lenses the same as the VX but may have a different coating. Spraying laquer on it seems to be the worse bit because it's so hazy, even with machine polish the lacquer never gets perfectly clear without distortion and before you konw it you've gone through it and back to the original lens material.
I polished this part looks better:

You're a brave man.
Very little people tried that, so not much info available.

Careful with the heat buildup on the lens surface from using electric sanders.
