The fezzasus lenses are top notch and at the price he sells them for I wouldn't spend the effort with the polish.

Hope it works well. I've heard they often only go back properly clear when you apply the uv spray. Someone did one a few years back and used a u-pol spray. Looked ok but don't know how well it stood up.

I have rustoleum uv gloss laquer. I will google u-pol spray.

I think I could be onto something here. I will let you know what I do and how it goes. Does anyone know a good paint for the black bits?

That guide appears to use glass headlight lenses.

Good thing someone makes replacement lenses.

Tom, if I mess this up, how long will it take to get replacement lenses. How much are you selling them for these days?

Thanks,

Richard

Two methods not worked so far. I'm going to follow the Drive Clean video. Off to buy some more sandpaper. Here is where I am at the moment :/

Could try some farecla. Start with profile 200, then G3 and finish with G10.

60 grit is way to coarse. You should have started with minimum 1000PP. Not sure if you can fix it now. If you want to continue, then go up to 80, 120, 180, 200, 400, 800, 1200, 1500 and then use 3m green top polish and finish off with yellow top and finally blue top.

I know, but because I stuffed it up, 800 grit wasn't doing much so I'm starting from the bottom.

Or you could buy the Mcguires headlight refurb pack, which includes detailed instructions, liquid, little graded numbered pads & small buffing wheel.

Halfords have a good selection and packs with a variety in. That's where I went after finding b&q etc didn't go fine enough. While your out I would also buy some beers. Think you deserve them!
