Rich just been to check his car. He was complaining of a lack of turn in and wash out under steer on corner exit at Ledenon. At least that's his story for being so much slower than me :D he thought his ARB might be broken but it looks fine although there's a little play. And his rear toe link has very slight play. He doesn't seem worried but with my history I would be! Off to find a mountain pass or three tomorrow. Anyone recommend the best route to do in a day? We'll have a camera on each car. on the way home, fill up fuel in Livigno, then go over the timmelsjoch pass into Austria , its a toll (most beautifull pass in alps), but on the Italian side you have passo rombo

Finally uploaded a vid from Ledenon. Second ever session trying to follow Dominic. He has more power and has driven it several times but he had to back off down the straight due to his exhaust blowing out all the packing at the other two tracks. So I just kept up until my tyres went off. Discovered they were under inflated so pumped them up and lasted much longer after this session. What. A. Track. https://youtu.be/1E4phqIE62A Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Second that ! Great road and hopefully quieter than the others , be aware its not open 24/7 , can't recall opening times so check first. Sounds like a cracking tour 😀

Rich wants to personally thank everyone for all the help, support and advice from peeps on the forum during our trip. He made me post this! Not bad for a supposed inferior loti variant club :) Well done peeps. That's why I love this place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I heard his freshly-packed-Tullett-with-new-super-duper-stuff was already flying out during the static testing...

(But his M62-B207 engine goes pretty well... )

It does, very well! Think he's gonna do what I did and strap a tubby back box on. Sounds carp but it's quiet. Is he on the forum? And Stefan? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got in the cars to head for the Alps first thing and... The sodding car wouldn't start! Think I left the lights on and have run the battery flat so it's currently hooked up to Rich's car trying to get some charge in the battery as it won't even turn over at the moment. Fingers crossed it's nothing else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Should be able to crank as soon as it's got another battery attached. If it can't, i'd check the relays in the boot again.

Checked relays all fine. Checked fuse, fine. I finally spotted a broken spade connector which must run from the battery to the fuel pump as it wasn't priming. So I just clamped the whole end underneath the battery contact which was a twat on with no ratchet spanner but it now works again! So, to the Alps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks like your having a blast out there! Love that place . There isn't many roads that are not worth driving out there so enjoy the ones you pick. Don't forget you can always turn round and go back down . Some are better the other way lol By the way your lights are still on😉⛰
