My engine is burning oil, Rich's has developed a misfire again (probably related to the weld on the mani) but we are soldiering on! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Checked relays all fine. Checked fuse, fine. I finally spotted a broken spade connector which must run from the battery to the fuel pump as it wasn't priming. So I just clamped the whole end underneath the battery contact which was a twat on with no ratchet spanner but it now works again! So, to the Alps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Maybe something to do with this again?

My car doesn't have one. It turns overbuy doesn't start. Chris (bless him) talked me through a few tests and it looks like the brand new spitfire fuel pump is dead. AA on there way. I'm now sat in a cloud bloody freezing. Well I wanted an adventure... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

can you hear it prime when you turn ignition on?

i would be surpised if the pump is dead tbh

i am thinking its electrical.. relay / whatever has been done to cut off switch / fuse

IT WAS THE fcuking FUEL PUMP FUSE!! fecking fallen out hadn't it?? Swear I checked it many times but it's fired up. This forum is literally a life saver. I was getting quite emotional thinking my car would be stuck in fecking Switzerland and I'd be trying to find a flight home... You're all legends. Thanks peeps. X Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
