Yes, Monday is early closing! I have found four, three are on the outskirts but the fourth is north centralish.  I tried to ring them all but all seem to be shut today I'm afraid.  They are

Au Palais du Fer Forge, 14, Impasse Ventoux, Orange,  m 06 60 59 82 30 (this is the nearest and to the north of you)

APEP, 692 Rue Roussanne, Orange, 04 88 84 54 90, m 06 14 47 30 60 southern outskirts

Ferronnerie Carlos, 3045 Route Camaret, Orange, m 06 15 90 84 75 east north east a short way out I think

Degaud Frederic, 21 Quartier Coudoulet Ouest, Orange, m 06 08 84 80 89 southern outskirts

There are others but I don't think there is much more I can do today if they are all shut.  Let me know.

Thanks for trying them that is very good of you. Seems Monday is a rest day. Looks like we'll be staying another night in Orange so we will try those you mentioned tomorrow. Thanks again for the help! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ledenon is a simply awesome track. For those of you who've not had the pleasure imagine the best roller coaster in the world (minus upside down bits!) and you've pretty much got it. Just so challenging, you can't stop concentrating for a nano second or you'll be in the gravel / Armco. So much elevation, compression and camber and just brilliant corners

I was chatting to someone at Zandvoort who was telling me that Ledenon was a brilliant track, I'd never even heard of it.

And... it was the manifold. Crack in the weld right round one of the pipes. As for mine, I finally got too fcuked off with fumes from both front and rear and called ChrisUK. Didn't realise it was bank hol Monday back in UK so sos mate! Chris told me to unplug the heater completely which I did and to check the vent pipe handy come out the catch tank. It had. Front fumes no longer happening and rear good for now although the amount of fumes coming out the pipe does concern me. Anyone got any ideas why it could be so bad? Off to find a French welder! Hopefully it will remain a track on the future for all to enjoy. Last year the locals were trying to get it closed down😟

I love the plastic shitbox. Other people love it too - I've had countless people taking photos and videos wherever we go and so many frolic people have commented on the colour. Watch another VX get the same paint job after this :)

Managed to get Rich's exhaust welded first thing this morning. I can officially recommend Pepinox in Orange if you are ever in need! Great job so we're just putting the exhaust back on then off to Italy. Finally.

Brilliant, glad you got that sorted, I wasn't confident it would be easy to find the right man for that job down here and I hadn't heard of Pepinox!

Got to Lake Como. Another 9hr journey. The cars held up though so pleased with that. Biblical storm and rain when crossing the border from France to Italy. Avon ZZRs not being the tyre of choice for such weather we took it easy for a while. Blown away by the road into Italy. Vista after vista followed tunnel after tunnel until your eyeballs were popping. Will remember that drive for ever. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Brings back so many memories for me this thread, it's a great read. I'm insanely jealous sitting here at my desk at work.

Currently lay by the floating pool on Lake Como. Worth all the miles for this little slice of heaven. If Carlsberg did lakes :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
