I don't like to think of the cost, at the end of the day these sort of things give huge satisfaction that outweighs the expense. 30 minutes of laughing your head off with the sheer brutality of it will be enough I expect.

 

I remember thinking about "wasting" 11k on Nipper initially. It seemed a lot initially, but compared to my house which cost 30 times as much it seemed a complete bargain in terms of cost to satisfaction ratio!

 

GL, am still keen to get a passenger ride in this thing - I will be bleating like a trussed up lamb though!

somebody dropped off a load of random parts the other day, so I thought I would see what I could make with them :lol:

 

JE 2.4 pistons and steel rods

2.4 crank with brand new bearings, under piston oil jets refitted and note the internal 5+2 trigger wheel

a sump which at first seemed spotless, but after closer inspection it was full of bits of piston :blink:

Bottom end almost complete :D

 

Brand new balancer delete idler gears and a brand new rear main oil seal

Yep the military grade stuff does, I've had my sump and lots of other bits done and still going strong. I will be getting my block done along with the head 😃

No can't be arsed with stupid electric pumps ,mechanical chain driven is what I want more reliable . NEIL great Job can't wait 😃😃😃😃😃 Will give the engine a paint I think will have to look into it .
