This is good pool of info here now, so a good place to start if you have a dash on order.

I have a few features on my dash that currently either don't work properly or aren't configured yet. unfortunately several emails to Garw later, I am still kind of on my own in working things out. Without the support of fellow owners and forums like this I would not be confident in getting everything working.

You can get normal senders and wire them up. The difficulty is finding where to plumb them (usually near the oil filter), or on the sump plug for temperature. You need an NPT mounting sleeve which can be found on eBay. If you PM me I can send you a reference that works.

Honestly, I used eBay ones that followed VDO curves and it has been good enough for me.

I bought this

And this

Correlated pressure from gauge with a mechanical gauge.
Numbers were close enough to trust the gauge.

What have peole used for oil temperature sender units? I have the banjo bolt with npt thread ready to go on, but didn't want to buy a complete gauge kit just for the sender unit.

I used an eBay short one, because mine is mounted in line with the filter, but any VDO should be fine.

Just thinking aloud, an NPT threaded banjo bolt into the oil cooler would be a good pick up point for a sensor? More space there under the inlet manifold (on a tubby anyway), and no belts or pulleys to worry about,

Has anyone fitted a Garw dash (8" version, as the firmware is different) to a turbo, and managed to get a sensible reading for the coolant temp gauge?

Still on the SC, the formula for the coolant temp is slightly off. One Italian guy compared with OBD readings

Fitted mine yesterday software 3.99 I think.
Looks great but the water temp is out. I will adjust this in the settings later to correct this, I got the mileage dialled in too.

I love the race dash graphic but I don't have oil temp installed, is there a way to remove this from the main screen or replace with a different parameter???

The fuel is a percentage and does seem to fluctuate a lot more than my original stack. Maybe this will be fixed with later software releases?

Interesting. Quite a lot of people have used his dash and it works. Persevere and I am sure it will be OK. It's not his day job by the way....

Couldn’t get a phone number so I just emailed 200 times then he did eventually get back to me.
Still hasn’t replaced mine but only been contacting him about it for several Months.

Maybe soon...
