Joe, are those the chargecooler pre-rad hoses going round the front of the car and into the rad cowl? Did you not get a ProAlloy chargecooler and pre rad?

yep they are the pipes for the pre rad that courtenays supplied and fitted to a second coolant tank of off a cobalt/ion and can always upgrade later if i need to can take a picture of the rear piping/pump assembly if you want? also to get other the pipe from the engine which gets in the way of the belt pulley system the best thing to use is a vauxhall omega v6 water pipe thumbsup

right here we go:

here is the mod that you have to do to the 100amp alternator. You have to take plastic cover off and also trip down the thread where the red wire goes. You can leave about 5mm of thread there but as the inlet manifold is metal kind off didnt want to risk it

Posted Image

below is the mod that you have to do to the pipe (water pipe i think) we used a vauxhall omega v6 water pipe as Vocky happened to off brought it along and it was a perfect fit. As you can see all we had to do was like the pipes together using a metal water pipe connector

Posted Image

Below is a picture of where you have to run the pipes through the door sill (driver side) The best thing to do as said earlier, is to use a bit of 1/2 inch copper pipe tape the pipe to the end and push it through, then take the black seal off (the black plastic with triangle bits on inside the cabin) then un-tap it and thread the pipe through two holes that you have to make - very painful! do not attempt if you have big arms!)

Posted Image

Below is a picture of a bosch water pump along side a second coolant tank of off a ion/cobalt

Posted Image

below is where we moved the ECU to (my ECU is possessed!)

Posted Image

below is a picture off where the pipes come out of the sills

Posted Image

below is a picture of the mounted pre rad in the crash box

Posted Image

below is a final picture of the front end

Hope this helps, if you want any more pictures of anything in partticular then just ask as i will be putting the clams back on this weekend

i will also take a picture of the mounted charger when i get my gasket thumbsup

also will take pictures of the oil catch tank thumbsup

Nice pics! And good find on that water hose! (part nr. please?) Did you remove the rear clam for this? I see u use the small standard LSJ water "tank". You didn't want a bigger tank where the coolant flows through? (I have the bigger pro-alloy radiator on order. Expensive, but you cannot have too much cooling on a FI engine. :D I will also make myself a "dual pass"manifold endplate for max charge cooling.)

just out of coincidence about the water pipe as Vocky brought one so that we could cut it up anduse it somehow and it was a perfect fit! not sure on what the part number is sorry!

yeah removed both clams as it was sooooo much easier and well worth the hour or so it takes to remove.

the water pump makes it flow through alot better anyway and didnt see the real need for the duel pass mod as it only gets between 25-30degrees(?)hot anyway but can always do it at a later day as with the coolant tank can always change later if needed

sounds like yours is going to be a cool machine!

I see you still have the (standard?) 6-rib LSJ pulley on the SC? As our 2,2 uses a 5-rib, I heard that should move the 6-rib SC pulley 1-1,5mm on the hub for a good allignment. Correct?

Here:
http://www.z22se.co....tart=75#p121964

SC pulley is the standard lsj one, but moved out by 1-1.5mm so the belt can sit on the inner ribs

But not sure if this is really necessary, ask Courtenay...
