Fina-farking-lly. My car is back together with it's nice shiny uprated fuel pump and only a few left over bolts. Still need to sort the brake overhaul out but, I too, am on the rolling road on Thursday for a final health check. Hopefully, I'll have enough power to drag my ass to the top of Raidillon now. :jump:

Just seen this. Well some good news at least. I hope Thursday goes ok. Let's hope the circuit is sorted out in time. thumbsup

Beginning to think the tunnel collapse coincided with me finally getting the fuel pump to stay where it was meant to. The timing is very suspect. Clearly I shouldn't have jumped with joy. If that is the case, my apologies. :blush:

UPDATED Monday 22nd March 2010 at 10:00

We have now heard from the circuit and they have confirmed that structural engineers are currently assessing the damage with a view to making a decision on the work involved before close of business today. We hope to have an update no later than 19:00 GMT today.

You can change the booking but I don't know about refunds.

We all have the hotel booked and paid for as well.

oh yeah! I didn't pay for the hotel when I booked, am supposed to pay on departure. Check your cancellation policy Cliffie, just in case, you may get a full refund up to 72 hours before or something??

Hopefully this'll get sorted out then, will be a shame for people to lose out :(

Worst comes to worst there is an evening session on at the 'ring on the 1st which is about an hour away from Spa.

Hmm, I still think we'll be ok. From the vid damage looked minimal and time is money! They will want this repaired ASAP! They have 10 days to sort it. Have faith people! :) Oh yeah, weather too :lol:

If we want to cancel our hotel there is no charge up until midnight tonight, after that, its the full price! If anyone finds out anything new please post as soon as you can today. Martin s
