That's a good idea. I have my PCV catch tank in that area but could easily be relocated.

When i get the custom tank designs through I'll post them on here. Anyone who wants a tank at the same time let me know. It will be baffled and hold about 8 litres. My idea is the then put a flush fit 1.75" filler with a 51mm neck on the body work to make it really easy to fill etc. Level will also be easily visible through the vent/ear.

That was what I was thinking of with my tank, matching fuel filler on oposite side, tank other side of bulkhead though. Me being me I would want it to match though, dunno if I'm bothered enough to do bodywork too. Try a T off to the original map sensor hole on supercharger, injecting some there should effectively raise efficiency of the charger slightly, was not able to test properly myself, you having a RR should be able to see any diff, the 1/8npt adapter in the kit will just about screw in with some sikaflex alike as its not under pressure there. At least good enough for testing.

Don't think vxr injectors will cut the mustard on this one chris

i was just making comment about the rev limit in general ,, not specifically on this build.

Good stuff chris But there is a lot more to it than that you could have two similar car and the duty cycle could be 10% difference quite easily

which is why i said the limiting factor is the injectors...

where are you going to mount the pump?

Think richard was talking about mounting the pump under the bracket/tank

Yep as Chris said the pump mounts directly under the bracket

70mm pulley atm.....this may change. And Dutch Ecu, soon to be upgraded to the pro version

Was re-reading your specs, but on page 1 you mentioned an underdive ATI crank pulley on there?

If fitted that will affect the SC-rpm by some 12% for the Ecotec UD pulley according ZZP info.

(makes your 70mm pulley act as a 78.4mm version...)

It was not fitted due to the fact it needs to be pressed onto the crank, my concern was how it could be removed again

To be honest I will never advise to fit one due to it being so tight into the oil pump gear. I measured the outside diameter and it was greater than a standard pulley - not ideal when the metal expands. After some serious track abuse (lots of heat) the oil pump gear might crack and thus kill the oil pressure. Be careful with them is my advice .....

Edit: it is running a 6 rib standard GM pulley

With the new fuel pump and the inlet system fitted I put the car back on the Dyno yesterday to do some more base pulls without the MW50. Fuel pump has certainly done the job and we are now seeing 347ftlbs of tourque and 396bhp(6500rpm). When logging it is clear that the top end power is being killed dramatically by the fast rising inlet temps. We were reaching 80deg on these pulls. With the motor showing so much promise in these early stages I'm tempted to fit the larger pulley and try and remove some temps from the inlet. Before final mapping with the MW50 I think I'll try the larger pulley and see what characteristics it gives and decide from there. Custom MW50 tank is all designed and at the manufacturing stage now. Should have this early next week, it's got an inbuilt bracket to allow it to be mounted and sit in the right hand side pod with the pump bolted underneath. I will be able to offer these to anyone else who may want one but there not exactly cheap.....£150.

Will be interested to see the design of the tank. I need to fit one to the passenger side as i) my charge cooler pipework goes along the drivers sill and ii) with my lard arse in the drivers seat I need as much counterweight on the passenger side as possible  and iii) a remote filler neck would be much easier to deal with on the passenger side away from spinning pulleys/belts. If they can do a mirror image of one, that would be perfect.

What capacity have you managed to make it?

You've got a new dyno sheet of this pull? Interested to compare with the 1st and to see what rpm it drops the power..

Below is the curve with the new fuel pump fitted and a little work done to the map over laid with the first initial pull.. IAT was rising massively during pulls which I believe is whats causing the big drop in power at the top end.
