There are websites for people like you, but it aint here. Your poor cat, I have a mind to get the RSPCA on to you.

Flucksticks. All that fuel pump pain and missed Peak District run over the weekend for nought. My crossing is non-refundable and non-transferable as I "paid" for it with Tesco Clubcard vouchers. So, assuming I'm good to cancel the hotel, I'll (or Jo will) only be £25 worth of clubcard vouchers down. Luckily, hadn't got round to buying Euro breakdown cover. Could be much worse but I was soooo looking forward to doing Spa - moreso than any other circuit. Won't be going to the 'ring on the Friday afternoon/evening as that will mean another crossing. Will see whether Jo fancies a little mini Euro road trip now it's not a trackday but, guess I'll end up binning the whole thing and maybe head up to Scotland instead.

You know it's true! Nah, we've got hundreds of quids worth of the stupid vouchers and each £1 of Tesco vouchers is worth £4 of Eurotunnel ticket. So you end up paying 1/4 of the cash cost. No brainer.

Ah, misread something somewhere. thumbsup

Won't be driving it, even if I do go, though. Don't particularly like the place and a lot of the twunts that drive on it. :(

I'll do it again one day on a private trackday but never again on a public day.

Feel free to share next time Mat. I could have done with only being £25 out of pocket.

I didn't know until 18 months ago. I think Siztenboots posted something up about it on here and I use that method all the time now. Still can't get my head around how the economics of it work but seems silly not to. Even use them for hotels sometimes. thumbsup

I can see why those who aren't too out of pocket cba going. We can use the tunnel another time, so it's not really £100 wasted but it's a shame to lose €158 on the hotel. who's up for still doing something so far then? Steve and Cliffie?

No Matt, you mis-understand me. What I meant was share your clubcard points.

If Fab can get a refund on the Hotel, I may just bin this and move my crossing to another Euro track day.

Here's where we are. Unless anything else goes wrong me and the Mrs will still be going. We are booked into the Best Western for the two nights and then drive down to Folembray on Good Friday. What we do instead of Spa will very much depend on the weather but we might be up for a trip to the 'Ring. Having driven it a few times before I cannot imagine driving it again unless it is both empty and bone dry - not least because I won't have insurance and I witnessed too much grief the last time I was there. Otherwise our wet programme will probably be a book and some :drink: and our dry programme will be some local rallly , the route to be decided.

With it being on a Thursday I expect it to be relatively clear of Loons.

Fab, have you managed to cancel at no cost? Did you go through the same booking.com site that most others did? If so, that's great news. thumbsup
